To place a bid You will be able to see what the highest bid is at the moment. You will also be able to see when the auction ends, the name of the highest bidder and also shipping information.
To the right of the header minimum bid the value of the lowest possible bid will be shown. Remember that your bid is binding, which means that you have to buy the object if you win the bidding.
When you have placed your bid you will be asked to double check and confirm your bid. After that you will be able to see if you got the highest bid. If someone else got a higher bid than you this message will be shown: Your bid is below the minimum bid.
You will be able to see all your placed bids on “My profile” -> Your bids.
Ending time On every auction there will be information about what date and time the auction ends. The time can vary between 1-30 days, and the auction will always end on stated hour. If a bid is placed during the last 60 seconds of an auction the time of the auction is automatically extended for another 10 minutes.
WINNER When an auction has ended the bidder with the highest bid has won the auction. The winner will be informed about this in an e-mail and will also see this on "My profile". The e-mail will contain instructions how to pay for the product. After the payment has been completed the products will be shipped, the shipping time varies depending on the shipping alternative, see each product for this information.
The Bid Servant Usually the bidding becomes more intense in the final minutes of the auction. When using the Bid Servant you will never have to miss a bidding and never risk to pay more than what is needed to win, up to your chosen maximum bid.
How does the Bid Servant work? When you place a bid that is higher than “the lowest bidding level” the Bid Servant automatically activates. It will then observe the bidding and raise your bid in case you gets over bidden.
You simply set the maximum amount that you are willing to reach in that specific auction. As long as nobody else has overbid you, your bid will stay at what at the moment is “the lowest bidding level”. If someone will overbid you, the Bid Servant will raise your bid to the next level in the bidding grade, i. e. no more than what it takes to become the highest bidder. If your maximum bid will be over bidden you will get an instant notification via e-mail.
The bidding steps at SnusAuction.com is: $0-49 $1 $50-99 $2 $100-199 $4 $200-499 $5 $500- $10
The bidding grade is automatically followed when you place a bid. All bids are in USD.
An example: If you place a maximum bid of $15 on an auction where the starting bid is $1, your bid will be shown as $1 to other bidders. When another bidder places a maximum bid of $2 the Bid Servant instantly places a $3 bid for you, as the $1-49 bidding grade is $1.
Is it possible to change my maximum bid while the auction is active? To raise your maximum bid you simply write your new bid in the bid box and clicks OK. The Bid Servant then replaces your previous maximum bid.
